London-based performer and composer  Graham Smith released the album ‘eleven’ in 2009,  an instrumental electronic album with NASA voice samples recounting the story of the Apollo 11 missions.

‘eleven’ is an artistic interpretation of  the mission from launch to the ticker-tape reviews that followed the astronaut’s prosperous return.

Smith describes his inspiration as follows: “The mission itself has distinct phases to it, which lend themselves perfectly to a musical interpretation. Musically, I wanted to create a roller coaster ride for the listener.”
